Directly benefiting from the healing aspects of massage for more than 2 decades made it something Amy felt called to share with others. The experience of receiving massage is the basis for this belief, but it is fortified by every LMT with whom she's personally acquainted and what they say about their massage therapy journeys.

 

"It all started in 2001 when my doctor ordered massage to address a specific issue. It was the first massage I’d ever had...and it was a game changer! Although I dreamed of becoming a massage therapist back then, my family comes first. After my son's career took off, it was time to revisit that dream!"

 

In 2024, Amy enrolled as a full-time student in Mind Body Institute’s night program while working during the day. It was an intensive, challenging road that allowed her to step into this new role and to give back in a more (literal) hands on way. Her aim is to help others experience how massage can affect every aspect of one's body and improve overall wellbeing.
