Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect during my first visit?

Once the intake forms are completed, you and your therapist will discuss your concerns. From there, your therapist will determine the best massage technique for your session.

Will I be covered during my session?

You will be properly draped at all times.

Do I have to be completely undressed?

Most people get completely undressed for a full body massage. However, you should undress to your comfort level. The massage therapist can still treat you with clothing on.

How much should I tip?

While tipping is not required, it is greatly appreciated. It is up to you how much you'd like to tip, but 20% is custom.

How often should I receive a massage?

Weekly sessions may be necessary for injuries or chronic pain. For maintenance, once a month is common. Ultimately, follow the advice of your massage therapist/doctor.

What does a massage therapist's license do?

To obtain a license, LMT's are required to complete a minimum number of training hours at an accredited school to grow and maintain their knowledge.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, though same day appointments are often available. Call for inquiries.

What is your cancellation policy?

We do require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment to ensure we have enough time to fill the gap in our therapists schedule. If your appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to your appointment, or you do not show for your appointment, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.

Do you do offer in-home massages?

Yes, we are available for outbound massages. Please call for inquiries.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept insurance. Though we are happy to provide you with a superbill if you would like to submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Credit/debt card, HSA/FSA, CareCredit, and cash.
